Kak Olin's 29th Birthday!
The surprise celebration was a success! and i was really glad that mine and kak rose planning worked out. Seriously it was all soo complicated and there was soo many drama's going behind the scenes but in the end we pulled it right off. We were actually doing it all right under her nose but she didnt even sense something was up!
Ouh wells, im glad she had a blasting birthday celebration today even though shes far away from the son and husband.

Selamat Hari Raya!
It was a virtual raya for me this year. Woke up early in the morning to ask forgiveness from the parents through sykpe; the wonders of the virtual world. it was an emotional one for me though.
anyways we went to Munro park dressed in baju kurung for the hari raya prayer and there was a rather large crowd there. The whole place just gives me a sense of serenity.
After prayers, we went to a few frens open house and although the raya celebration here wasn't as grand but we do go visiting and eat rendang, lontong and ayam masak merah so i guess it wasnt too bad.
Open house at Unit 71/ The manors
We had an open house over at our house for the singaporean and some of the malaysian frens and yesh i do help in most of the cooking. We had rendang, serunding, ayam masak merah, lodeh, lontong, gado-gado and of course the raya cookies that we make. It was nice to have soo many ppl around the house and i especially love the camwhoring moments with the gurls.

Raya Celebration at Masjid Woolonggaba
The food was good, the people were nice and we even had a hitch ride home and made new frens=) It was great to be surrounded with people who was wearing the malay traditional costumes. It just makes me feel a sense of home and belonging.
