GRADUATION NITE

Overall i felt that the graduation nite was rather a disappointment. I was looking forward to sth better. Only the fact that i get to meet and take pics with people i know and like makes the party somewhat bearable..

It was more of a concert kind of theme i guess. We didnt have a real seat like other prom nite. Everyone was just crowded around the stage/runway. The host for the day was jean danker and she was real good and pretty.

I didnt really agree with some of the choices of nomination for the best dressed though. I felt some of them wasnt even dressed according to the retro theme.. oouh wells.

Anyways the performances by the fellow friends was nice though and the lucky draw segment combine with the deal and no deal game was interesting. Just feast on the pics alrites.=)

Sentosa Family trip
21/03/08

We had our first try at taking the Luge over at Sentosa. And i thought it was rather fun. I dun agree with those people who said it was boring..Although it was a short trip but it was certainly very fulfilling. We managed to explore a lot of places.

Actually it has been a few years since we actually stepped on Sentosa as a family. Being there this time reminded me of all those times and it brings a smile to my face.

I can never imagine a day without them by my side.

Dad woke up at 6.30am ytd just to accompany me on my train ride all the way to the subordinate court for a job interview although he still has to work later on in the day. i insisted on taking the train coz i wanted to know how to get there if ever i get the job. *i was really touched that he accompanied me coz i didnt expect it. in some ways i still feel somewhat pampered.haha. i mean how many dad's will wake up early and take the crowded train just to accompany his 20 year old daughter for a job interview? haha

Anyways met nana's fren yani who was also there for an interview and i realise we were both competing for the same job. the boss who interviewed me was very nice. she told me she had difficulty choosing one of us coz we happen to be from the same poly with the same diploma in Biomed, almost the same amount of experience and we are both yani's. hahaha

Met the first friend there. We were talking a lot to each other. He just came out from army and will be starting uni in july. he got a place in NTU and will be taking a degree in bioscience. How cool. we talked so much but when i leave the office i realise i didnt know his name! The agency called me 15mins later and told me i got the job. i was excited yet nervous coz the court seems like such an important and cool place to be working in.

And today today was one of the coolest day ever! i was introduced to the people in the office. All of them are super friendly people especially of course the friend i met the previous day. Found out his name was Jay and we shared the same table in the office. The best part is we were talking all the way as if we've known each other for ages. haha. nicee =)
We had to analyse all the case files regarding shop theft. The cases varies and i find all of them very interesting.

Went lunch with all the new friends jay, wei ting and dixie. Wei ting is from National Jc, Jay is from Temasek JC while Dixie is from Tampiness JC and all will be entering uni this july. very outgoing bunch of people. i really like them a lot. Dixie and Wei ting will be quiting in April so me and jay had to take over their 'job'. We went to shing siong and bought lots of tidbits for the office. Aparently everyone always have snacks in between work.

After lunch, wei ting and dixie brought me and jay to the Family court to show us how to conduct surveys etc. there was so many different sections and the case varies from divorce cases, to family violence etc etc. explored the whole family court and tried asking people around to help us with our surverys too. so far not too bad although i must say the atmosphere there was really very tense.

We the headed back to the sub court. dixie and weiting brought us all around. I was told that court number 1 is the biggest and the DPP is the judge there. manage to take a peek at the other courts which is smaller in size. I plan to enter one of the court rooms, sit down and listen to one of the hearings one of this days. That will be quite an experience im sure.
ouh and theres a childcare nursery in court where parents can just dump their kids when they attend court hearings! super cute room and of course there was so many other cool rooms that we explored. it was really exciting!

The first day at work was really great and im really really looking forward to Monday! =)

Our plans are always changing and they can be rather unexpected somtimes.

Was talking to vid on msn just now and she was telling me that her grandmother has given approval for her to work in auzi after graduating from monash at the end of the year.

and to think that i was talking to her abt me studying and living there since sec school and she beat me to that. she's in love wif auzi now! and shes applying for PR and might even stay there permanently. How nice! i still cant believe she will be really working and living there. just a few years before it wasnt even in one of her options!

As for me my plans for the future are still vague coz im considering a lot of things at the same time. i shall just go with the flow for now and hopefully something unexpectedly nice will come out of it. =)

IM MISSING VID LOTS!

The Leap Year

i have never really bothered much about feb 29th for any of the past years but this year im glad i spent it with this 2 darls of mine. it makes the day more special. its the company that matters; after all it comes after 4 years ryte. haha..

We went to vivo and we spent our time talking, camwhoring and watching 'the leap years'. The movie was nice! We liked it a lot. So many lessons to learn from it =)
The future ahead is full of uncertainties but i would like to spent our next coming leap year together with you people again. hopefully the bond that we share now will still be as strong 4 years down the road.

pics will be put up as soon as i got it from liy

Never says never; 11:43 PM

i have always dislike teaching but after it for this past week, i have to say it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be.
On the first day of my relief teaching i had to teach a pri 3 class. They were such adorable, entusiastic and noisy bunch of kids. When i ask a question almost everyone will be raising their hands to answer and when i asked for help all of them will come rushing to me to help me. their innocent questions and comments makes me smile. i really liked teaching them.

Teaching the upper primary is a bore through. They are nothing like the pri 3's. they look somehow "dead". lols.

ouh wells i dun really hate teaching as much now but i dun think i will want it to be a career.
